Texas Department of Public Safety officials are investigating a crash that killed a man at I-30 in Bowie County, TX on April 25th, 2022. Police say the incident happened around 7:57 a.m. According to investigators, a tractor-trailer operated by 51-year-old Willie Tyrone Davis was headed westbound on I-30 when it reportedly veered from the north side of the road into a barrow ditch. It then struck a metal pole causing the cargo to shift forward in the vehicle, trapping Davis in the truck. Davis suffered fatal injuries in the crash.
