What Happened

Texas Department of Public Safety officials are investigating a crash that injured a person at Delta Dr and Fonseca Dr in El Paso, TX on April 19th, 2022. Police say the incident happened around 2:03 p.m. According to investigators, a tractor-trailer operated by a 36-year-old El Paso man was headed westbound behind a Toyota Corolla operated by aa 23-year-old El Paso woman. Police believe the truck failed to control its speed and collided with the Corolla, causing minor injuries to the El Paso woman. The truck driver was not injured and charged with Failure to Control Speed Causing Accident.
