Area authorities are investigating a crash that injured two people at Dobbins Rd in Corsicana, TX on October 21st, 2023. Police say the incident happened around 11:10 p.m. According to investigators, a Toyota Tacoma operated by 19-year-old Jonathan Ochoa, was eastbound on Dobbins before leaving the roadway for unconfirmed reasons. After leaving the road, police say the vehicle struck a mailbox before crashing into a tree and coming to a stop. Reports say both a 20-year-old passenger as well as Ochoa, were seriously injured. Reports also indicate officers expressed suspicion of possible alcohol involvement in the crash.
