Texas Department of Public Safety officials are investigating a collision that injured a pedestrian at Highland Shores Blvd and Timber Crest Ln in Highland Village, TX on October 4th, 2024. Police say the incident happened around 9:16 a.m. Investigators are saying a Toyota 4Runner traveling eastbound is alleged to have left the roadway, possibly due to a driver medical emergency, before colliding with a pedestrian walking westbound on a nearby sidewalk. The pedestrian, only identified as a 36-year-old woman, was seriously injured. Authorities did not have additional inforamtion available.
