What Happened

Authorities are investigating a crash that injured a woman at Park Ln in Dallas, TX on September 26th, 2023. Police say the incident happened around 6:23 p.m. According to investigators, a Lincoln MKZ was southbound on N Central Expressway as a Lexus ES was headed westbound at Park Lane. Authorities allege the Lincoln disregarded a red light before colliding with the Lexus. Reports say the impact caused the Lexus to struck a a nearby Ford F-150 while a side wheel detached and struck a Honda Accord. It was alleged by authorities the Lincoln may have suffered a mechanical issue that could have caused or contributed to the crash. Officials say a 25-year-old passenger in the Lexus was seriously injured while the driver, 31-year-old Randall Peterson Jr, had possible injuries. The Lincoln operator also had possible injuries, according to reports. The other drivers were not injured police say.
