Texas Department of Public Safety officials are investigating a crash that injured a woman at Sam Rayburn Tollway in Allen, TX on April 23rd, 2022. Police say the incident happened around 3:11 p.m. According to investigators, a commercial truck operated by a 40-year-old Pine Island, MN man was headed northeast on the tollway when it performed what police believe was an unsafe lane change. It then collided with a Mercedes-Benz E operated by a 52-year-old Lexington, OK woman. The other passengers in the vehicle, a 10-year-old, 15-year-old and 16-year-old, were not injured. The Pine Island man was also uninjured and cited for Changing Lanes When Unsafe.
