Area authorities are investigating a crash that injured a woman at US 60 in Deaf Smith County, TX on September 12th, 2023. Police say the incident happened around 8:08 a.m. According to investigators, a tractor-trailer operated by a 56-year-old driver was westbound on US 60 as a Kia Sportage was southbound at a private drive. Police say the Kia failed to yield right of away and turned left to head eastbound on US 60. As it did so, the vehicles collided, leaving the 74-year-old woman operating the Kia with suspected serious injuries. The other driver was not injured, additional information was not immediately available.
