What Happened

Area authorities are investigating a crash that injured a woman at Bratton Ln in Travis County, TX on June 7th, 2023. Police say the incident happened around 1:30 a.m. According to investigators, a Chevrolet Malibu operated by a 22-year-old Austin woman who was not publicly identified is said to have been headed southbound at the time of the crash. Investigators allege the vehicles collided with the front of a commercial truck that was turning out of a private drive onto Bratton Lane. While the 49-year-0ld operator of the truck was not injured, police say the Austin woman suffered suspected serious injuries. Due to suspected alcohol involvement, authorities recommended and/or issued a Driving While Intoxicated charge.
