What Happened

Utah Highway Patrol officials are investigating a collision that killed a man at State Route 201 in West Valley City, UT on August 30th, 2021. Police say the incident happened around 10 a.m. A semi-truck head westbound on 5600 West collided with the rear of a second truck moving around 5 mph. The driver of the second semi-truck, 29-year-old Al Fhuere, suffered fatal injuries. Additional information was not immediately available.
