What Happened

Area authorities are looking into a crash that killed both drivers involved at Route 191 near Moab, UT on December 14th, 2021. They say it happened around 4:35 a.m. A semi-truck headed northbound on Route 191 is believed to have veered left across a center line into southbound traffic. That is when, according to investigators, the truck collided head-on with a southbound semi-truck. Both drivers, identified as 54-year-old Bertram Frink and 54-year-old Clark Hatch, died at the scene. Additional information was not available.
