What Happened

Utah Highway Patrol officials are investigating a crash that injured a driver at I-15 in Salt Lake City, UT on July 7th, 2021. Police say the incident involved a passenger vehicle and tractor-trailer colliding. Police say the semi-truck stopped after missing an exit prompting other vehicles to stop. The passenger vehicle then swerved to avoid hitting the vehicles and collided with the side of the truck and went partially underneath. The driver of the passenger car suffered minor injuries.
