What Happened

Virginia State Police are investigating a crash that killed a person at Zachary Taylor Hwy and True Blue Rd in Orange County, VA on November 18th, 2022. Police say the incident happened around 7:45 a.m. According to investigators, a southbound tractor-trailer was making a left turn onto True Blue Road before colliding with a Saturn Ion traveling northbound. The driver of the Saturn, identified as 31-year-old Amanda C Goodman, died at the scene. The tractor-trailer driver was not injured. The driver, identified as 61-year-old Robert Snow, was arrested on a charge of involuntary manslaughter and driving without a valid commercial license.
