Virginia State Police are investigating a crash that killed a woman at I-64 in Richmond, VA on December 9th, 2021. Police say the incident happened around 11 a.m. A Buick Encore operated by 20-year-old Clarissa Simmons was headed westbound on I-64 when the vehicle attempted to change from a right lane into a left lane. Investigators say the vehicle ended up in a right shoulder in the process and collided with a disabled tractor-trailer. Simmons suffered fatal injuries at the scene.
