What Happened

Washington State Patrol officials are investigating a crash that killed two people at US 395 in Franklin County, WA on June 27th, 2023. Police say the incident involved two vehicles colliding under unclear circumstances. Police allege the possibility the one of the vehicles failed to yield to the other during a left turn. Police say 66-year-old Debora Bowes died at the scene while her husband, Jeffery Bowes, was taken to an area hospital with injuries he also died from. The other driver, 20-year-old Daniel Gomez, was reportedly uninjured.
