Clark County Sheriff's Office authorities are investigating a crash that injured a driver at Padden Pkwy in Vancouver, WA on July 11th, 2023. Police say the incident happened around 6:25 a.m. According to investigators, a garbage truck was approaching a road construction crew working to set up traffic cones on the roadway. As the truck performed a lane change to avoid the area, police say it struck a Dodge Dart already in the lane it was merging into. The impact sent the Dodge into a parked construction truck, which in turn was pushed into a nearby ditch where it overturned. The garage truck also struck a pickup truck before coming to rest. The driver of the Dodge was extricated from the vehicle and hospitalized with injuries believed to be non-life-threatening in nature. The other drivers involved were not injured, according to police.
