What Happened

Washington State Police are investigating a crash that killed a man at I-5 in Milton, WA on February 15th, 2022. Police say the incident happened around 6:15 a.m. Investigators say 49-year-old Joe Masterson was strapping down a box truck onto a tow truck when he was struck by a FedEx semi-truck that veered into the shoulder. Masterson suffered fatal injuries in the collision. Police say the 65-year-old semi-truck driver faces vehicular homicide charges.
