Washington Patrol officials are investigating a collision that injured a woman at US Hwy 12 near Elma, WA on January 6th, 2025. Police say the incident happend around 4:20 p.m. According to investigators, a semi-truck traveling westbound on US Hwy 12 is alleged to have attempted a left turn, striking a southbound vehicle entering eastbound Hwy 12. Reports claim the truck failed to yield and allege its 53-year-old operator was under the influence. The 23-year-old Olympia woman operating the other vehicle was hospitalized with serious injuries.
