What Happened

Washington State Patrol officials are investigating a collision that killed a man at I-5 in Kalama, WA on September 22nd, 2021. Police say the incident happened just after 10:30 a.m. They say that 33-year-old Raymond Mitchell, a worked for TLC Towing, was struck either while in or near a tow truck by a semi-truck operated by 23-year-old Nolan Alvarino. Investigators allege that the semi-truck was speeding at the time of the incident and confirmed that Mitchell suffered fatal injuries. Charges are pending and additional details were not availale.
