State Police are investigating a crash that injured a person at I-5 in Seattle, WA on August 23rd, 2021. Police say the incident happened as a vehicle merging onto the southbound I-405 struck a semi-truck. The impact caused the semi-truck to veer into a guardrail and go over an embankment and landing on its side. The driver of the truck, 64-year-old Steven Garner, suffered fatal injuries.
