What Happened

Washington County Police are investigating a crash that killed two people at Hwy 33 and Alpine Dr in Washington County, WI on March 27th, 2023. Police say the incident happened around 1:15 p.m. Investigators, say a vehicle slowed to make a left turn onto Alpine Drive when a vehicle behind collided with its rear. The impact pushed it into an oncoming lane where it was struck by a westbound semi-truck. One driver was killed. The other two drivers were not transported to the hospital but it was not stated if they were treated at the scene. Additional information was not immediately available.
