What Happened

Area authorities are investigating a crash that injured a driver at FM 1314 in Conroe, TX on January 5th, 2023. Police say the incident happened around 7:39 p.m. According to investigators, a tractor-trailer operated by 41-year-old Efrain Napoleon Escamilla was exiting a private drive prior to the crash. Upon entering the main lanes of FM 1314, it was struck by a Toyota Corolla operated by 28-year-old Tabinah Sheikh. Officials allege the truck failed to stop from the private driveway. Sheikh suffered what officials labeled as serious injuries. Escamilla was reportedly not injured. Additional information was not immediately available.
