What Happened

State Police are investigating a crash that killed a motorcyclist at Hwy 54 in Bellflower, IL on January 10th, 2023. Police say the incident happened as 75-year-0ld Larry Sosamon operated a motorcycle. After previously stopping at the intersection, the motorcycle is alleged to have pulled into the path of a semi-truck traveling on Route 54.
