What Happened

Area authorities have information on a crash that killed two people at I-57 near Anna, IL on April 26th, 2023. Police say the incident involved a passenger vehicle being struck from the rear by a semi-truck. The impact pushed the vehicle from there road into a nearby wooded area before it caught fire. The driver, identified as Mohammed Isamuddin, was killed in the crash. Also killed was a passenger, who was not named.
