What Happened

Kansas Highway Patrol officials identified the person killed in a crash at I-135 and 53rd St North in Park City, KS on September 10th, 2022. Police say the incident happened around 11:40 a.m. According to investigators, a passenger vehicle operated by 23-year-old Damian Conner was traveling behind a semi-truck on wet roadways prior to colliding with the rear of the truck. Officers say the truck was stopped due to traffic congestion and believe the car attempted to brake but slid into the truck, partially due to the wet roads. Conner suffered fatal injuries at the scene. The truck driver involved was not injured.
