What Happened

New York State Police released the name of the woman killed in an accident involving a charter bus in Lower Manhattan, NY on December 20th, 2018. 28-year-old Kimberly Greer was killed when she was hit by a bus while attempting to cross at the intersection of Leonard St and Centre St. Police pronounced Greer dead at the scene. The driver of the bus, 50-year-old Xi Chen, was not injured nor were any passengers aboard. Chen was arrested on charges of failure to yield to a pedestrian and failure to use due care.
