What Happened

Area authorities are investigating an incident involving a transit bus that injured a man at 400 Grove St in Fayetteville, NC on March 24th, 2020. Official say the incident happened around 7:40 p.m. An unidentified 62-year-old man was performing maintenance on a FAST bus inside a service bay when a second bus entered and crushed the man between the two vehicles. The man was taken to an area hospital with life-threatening injuries.
