What Happened

A collision on icy roads left a driver injured at Hwy 85 near Arnegard, ND on January 23rd, 2023. Police say it happened around 6:30 a.m. Investigators believe an eastbound Chevrolet Colorado was traveling eastbound on the highway as a westbound flatbed truck crossed into its lane. The truck collided with the Chevrolet before continuing without stopping at the scene. The Chevrolet driver, an unarmed 48-year-old Watford City man, was hospitalized with serious injuries.
