What Happened

Oklahoma Highway Patrol officials are investigating a collision that killed a man at I-40 in Pottawatomie County, OK on March 28th, 2023. Officials say it happened around 9:30 p.m. as 27-year-old Kyle McCullough was loading a vehicle onto his tow truck. Investigators say as he died so, he was struck by an oncoming semi-truck. The truck involved allegedly stopped for a brief moment before leaving the scene. Authorities lasted located a suspect, identified as Shengjie Li, who they have moved to file Leaving the Scene of a Fatal Accident charge against. McCullough was killed in the crash. Right now, police do not have additional information to share.
