Texas Department of Public Safety officials are investigating a crash that killed a person at I-30 in Bowie County, TX on August 25th, 2022. Police say the incident happened around 5:20 p.m. According to investigators, a Mercury Grand Marquis is said to have collided with the rear of an 18-wheeler slowing due to traffic ahead from a previous crashed. The driver of the Mercury, identified as 42-year-old Amanda Butler, suffered fatal injuries.
