What Happened

Area authorities are investigating a crash that injured two people at State Hwy 62 in El Paso, TX on June 4th, 2022. According to authorities, the crash happened around 10:14 a.m. Investigators believe a Dodge Ram 1500 operated by 53-year-old Maria Plunkett was headed eastbound on Montana when it failed to control its speed and struck a Ford F-150 operated by an unnamed 66-year-old male. A passenger in the Ford, identified as 60-year-old Amanda Lorena Jacquez, suffered serious injuries. Plunkett was also seriously injured and hospitalized for treatment.
