Area authorities are investigating a crash that killed a person at Saunders Rd and I-45 in Houston, TX on August 6th, 2022. Police say the incident happened around 1 a.m. According to authorities, a vehicle was headed northbound on Saunders when it veered from the road for unknown reasons before crashing head-on into a cement pillar. The vehicle caught fire and responding authorities were able to pull the driver from the vehicle before attempting life-saving measures. Identified as 27-year-old Angel Dominguez, the driver suffered fatal injuries at the scene. Additional information was not immediately available.
