What Happened

Texas Department of Public Safety officials have information on a crash that killed a person at US 70 in Muleshoe, TX on September 18th, 2022. Police say the incident happened around 5:25 p.m. According to their investigation, a vehicle headed eastbound on US 70 is said to have crossed into a westbound lane before colliding with a westbound vehicle. The driver of the westbound vehicle, identified as 44-year-old Apolinario Raymundo, suffered fatal injuries when the vehicle was pushed from the road and rolled into a ditch. Two passengers in the same vehicle, 19-year-old Domingo Ramos and 19-year-old Joslyn Rodriguez, were both hospitalized with undisclosed injuries.
