What Happened

A woman was killed in a pedestrian accident at Westheimer Rd in Houston, TX on December 10th, 2022. Police say the incident happened around 9:04 p.m. Investigators are saying Breonna Valdes was attempting to return a can of gas to her previously disabled vehicle before she was struck by another vehicle while attempting to cross to her vehicle. She was taken to an area hospital with injuries she later died from. Officials say the driver of the other vehicle was determined to not have been impaired at the time of the collision.
