What Happened

Area authorities are investigating a crash that that injured multiple people at State Hwy 6 in Missouri City, TX on August 1st, 2022. Officers say it happened around 12:35 a.m. According to investigators, a Hyundai Elantra operated by 23-year-old Vance Sasso was headed southbound before it allegedly failed to control its speed. It collided with the rear of a BMW stopped at a red light. A passenger in the BMW, identified as 26-year-old Cassandra Jadira Aranda was seriously injured, as was Sasso. The driver of the BMW, identified as 30-year-old Alejandro Granados, had less serious injuries. Additional information was not immediately available.
