What Happened

Authorities are investigating a crash that injured several people involved at US 67 in Comanche County, TX on March 23rd, 2024. Police say the incident happened around 7:25 p.m. According to investigators, a Ford F-350 was westbound on US 67 before allegedly turning left ahead of an oncoming eastbound Jeep Wrangler. The vehicles collided, reports say, leaving a 24-year-old passenger in the Ford seriously injured. Also seriously injured, as a 16-year-old occupant of Jeep and the 31-year-old driver, identified as Celia Meza. Sources show the driver of the Ford, who was not publicly identified, was cited for Turning When Unsafe and No DL When Unlicensed.
