What Happened

A two-truck crash left one driver injured at I-35 in Schertz, TX on February 21st, 2023. Officials believe it happened around 12:59 p.m. According to investigators, a tractor-trailer operated by an unnamed 60-year-old San Antonio man was going southwest behind a Subaru Forester operated by 65-year-old David Fisher. Police say the tractor-trailer failed to come to a complete stop and collided with the rear of the Subaru, pushing it into the Chevrolet Silverado ahead of it. The driver of the Silverado was evaluated for possible injuries while a passenger in the vehicle had unknown injuries. Fisher was reportedly seriously injured while the San Antonio man was not injured. Additional information was not available.
