What Happened

Area authorities are investigating a crash that injured a pedestrian at Jones Rd in Harris County, TX on February 19th, 2023. Police say the incident happened around 2:40 a.m. According to investigators, a Nissan Versa operated by 45-year-old Nicole O'Shaughnessy was allegedly headed southbound on Jones prior to colliding with a pedestrian crossing the road. Police did not provide information regarding what they believe led to the crash. They say the pedestrian, 18-year-old Dee Alexander, had serious injuries. Authorities have recommended a charge of Failure to Stop and Render Aid against O'Shaughnessy.
