What Happened

Area authorities are investigating a crash that killed a person at President George Bush Turnpike in Carrollton, TX on December 13th, 2022. Police say the incident happened around 4:27 p.m. According to investigators, a Toyota Camry operated by 23-year-old Desarai Kashaebria Holloway was traveling westbound as another vehicle ahead veers from its lane. The Camry is said to have performed an evasive action and swerved left, colliding with the rear of a Kia Soul operated by an unnamed 38-year-old Denton man. The impact sent the vehicle across another lane before it was struck by a commercial truck, leaving Holloway with fatal injuries. The other drivers involved in the crash were uninjured. Police had no additional information to share.
