What Happened

Dallas Police are investigating a shooting incident that killed a man at a Dallas, TX nightclub on January 1st, 2019. Police say 34-year-old Jason Hill was killed when attempting to leave the club parking lot in his pickup truck. According to reports, several people in the parking lot were tending to an unresponsive person behind the truck when Hill attempted to back out of his parking spot. Officials say 27-year-old Eric Hansen and 25-year-old Daterrious Haggard, two club guards, opened fire on the vehicle. EMS officials pronounced Hill dead at the scene. Hansen and Haggard were arrested on murder charges.
