What Happened

Texas Department of Public Safety officials are investigating a crash that killed a mother and injured her son on US 81/287 near Decatur, TX on February 3rd, 2019. Jeanette Marie Bragg was killed when her vehicle lost control and crashed into a median before rolling several times. She was pronounced dead at the scene. Her 15-year-old son who was a passenger in the vehicle was hospitalized with minor injuries and later released to his father.
