What Happened

Odessa Police are investigating a crash that killed a driver at Murphy St and Business 20 in Odessa, TX on April 19th, 2023. Police say the incident involved a Honda Odyssey and Ford F-250. Right now, investigators allege the Honda was headed eastbound on Murphy Street as the Ford traveled westbound. The say the Honda may have failed to yield right of way at the Ford attempted to perform a left turn, the vehicles colliding in the process. The driver of the Honda, identified as 86-year-old John Edward Grube, was killed. A passenger from the Honda was hospitalized with serious injuries. The Ford operator was also hospitalized with undisclosed injuries. Additional information has not been made available.
