What Happened

Area authorities are investigating a crash that injured four people at Emory Peak in Bexar County, TX on February 26th, 2023. Police have stated the crash occurred around 1:04 a.m. According to investigators, a Dodge Charger operated by 21-year-old Joseph Johnson was headed westbound on Emory Peak, allegedly at a high rate of speed. At some point, the vehicle lost control while attempting a turn, causing it to veer from the road into a concrete wall. Three passengers, ages 21, 17 and 16, were hospitalized with serious injuries. Johnson, who officers allege was under the influence of alcohol, was also hospitalized with serious injuries.
