What Happened

Area authorities are investigating a crash that injured a driver at US 290 in Austin, TX on December 11th, 2022. Police say the incident happened around 12:41 a.m. According to investigators, a Toyota Tundra operated by 33-year-old Juan Antonio Ochoa is said to have veered from the road into a guardrail after allegedly falling asleep at the wheel. The vehicle hit a guardrail and hit a pillar as a result, leaving Ochoa serious injuries. Police had no additional information to share.
