What Happened

Houston Police are investigating a crash that injured a pedestrian at I-45 in Houston, TX on April 2nd, 2023. Police say the incident happened around 11:40 p.m. Authorities allege 30-year-0ld Julio Torres Jr was struck by a vehicle as Torres traveled as a pedestrian in or near the roadway. The vehicle involved left the scene of the collision, allegedly without stopping to render aid or call authorities. Torres was taken to an area hospital in critical condition. Authorities are currently searching for the whereabouts of the suspect vehicle and its driver.
