What Happened

Texas Department of Public Safety officials are investigation a crash that killed a persona t I-35 in Encinal, TX on March 4th, 2023. Police say the incident happened around 6 a.m. According to investigators, a southbound Ford Taurus lost control for unknown reasons before traveling through a median and head-on into a Kia sedan. Three people involved suffered fatal injuries in the collision. Police later identified them as Ford driver, 26-year-old Kristian Rocha and Kia occupants, 33-year-old Mayra Santos and 30-year-old Alexandra Martinez. Additional information was not immediately available.
