What Happened

Authorities are investigating a crash that killed a man at FM 1625 in Travis County, TX March 1st, 2024. Police say the incident happened around 4:25 p.m. According to investigators, a Toyota 4Runner was southbound on FM 1625, nearing the FM 1327 intersection. Reports say the vehicle collided with an eastbound Chevrolet Colorado at the intersection, authorities alleging one of vehicles disregarded a posted traffic signal. The impact left a 47-year-old passenger in the Toyota seriously injured. The individual, who was not publicly identified, was taken to an area hospital with injuries he later died from. The others involved in the crash were allegedly uninjured. Authorities did not nave any additional information available.
