What Happened

Police in the are responded to a crash that injured a driver at TX 21 in Bastrop County, TX on April 21st, 2021. They say the crash happened around 6:39 p.m. A Toyota Rav4 was reportedly exiting a private drive and entered onto SH 21 when unsafe to do so. An approaching Kenworth tractor-trailer reportedly attempted to avoid a collision but was unsuccessful and struck the Toyota. The collision forced the Toyota to spin and land partially upright and the driver, 62-year-old May Muoi Ngo, suffered serious injuries. The truck driver, a 56-year-old San Antonio, TX man, was not injured. Ngo was also cited for failure to yield row while exiting a private drive.
