What Happened

Area authorities are investigating a collision that injured a driver at Business 83 and Coil Dr in San Juan, TX on March 4th, 2022. Police believe the incident happened around 5:02 p.m. According to investigators, a Chevrolet Silverado operated by a 26-year-old San Juan man was previously stopped behind a Buick Verano at a stop sign before continuing forward, striking the Buick. The driver of the Buick, identified as 28-year-old Minerva Campos, suffered serious injuries in the collision. The San Juan man was uninjured and issued citations for No Driver License and Failure to Show Proof of Insurance.  Additional information was not immediately available.
