What Happened

Authorities have information on a crash that left a driver dead at FM 665 in Nueces County, TX on December 11th, 2022. Officers say it happened around 12:44 a.m. Investigators say a Ford F-150 operated by a 24-year-old Robstown man was headed westbound on FM 665 at the time. A Yamaha motorcycle operated by 25-year-old Nicholas Manganiello was headed eastbound. Authorities allege the Ford drifted into an eastbound lane and collided with the motorcycle. The collision caused Manganiello to suffer fatal injuries on impact. The Ford overturned and landed un a farm field nearby. Officers allege suspicion of alcohol involvement on the part of the Robstown man and recommended intoxication manslaughter charges.
