What Happened

Texas Department of Public Safety officials are investigating a crash that injured a person at State Hwy 21 in Bastrop, TX on August 2nd, 2022. Police say the incident happened around 7:57 a.m. Investigators believe a Dodge Ram 3500 operated by a 25-year-old Boerne man is accused of running a red light at an intersection. The vehicle collided with a Ford Bronco operated by 24-year-old Rebecca Elizabeth Tucker. Tucker is said to have suffered serious injuries in the crash while the Boerne man was not injured. Officers issued a Runing Red Light citation.
